- A Tribute to Michele Parrinello: From Physics via Chemistry to Biology W. Andreoni, D. Marx, and M. Sprik, ChemPhysChem Vol. 6, Issue 9, pp. 1671 – 1676 (2005)
I was introduced to condensed matter theory by prof. Mario P. Tosi and prof. Michele Parrinello who started research in this field at the University of Messina, with a focus on the physics of classical and quantum liquids, in the period 1969 – 1974. Some records on those exciting years can be found in:
Mario P. Tosi, in “Progress in Condensed Matter Physics - ‘Festschrift’ in honour of Vincenzo Grasso”, edited by G. Mondio and L. Silipigni (Italian Physical Society, Bologna, 2003), Conference Proceedings, Vol. 84, pp. XXVII – XXXVI (download preprint)
